Nebraska Library Commission Grants Schedule

Nebraska Library Commission Grants: The Nebraska Library Commission awards grants to Nebraska libraries and library organizations according to the following schedule. These grants are financed with funding made available through the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature and through the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act.

Continuing Education and Training Grants

Note: The first round of CE Grants will open in September 2022; applications will be accepted for CE activities to be completed before June 30, 2023. The second round of CE Grants will open in March 2023; applications will be accepted for CE activities that begin after July 1, 2023.

Youth Grants for Excellence

Funds are available for innovative projects to serve children in public libraries. Children's librarians, young adult librarians, or librarians whose responsibilities include children's services are eligible to apply. Schools or other service agencies may be involved through collaborative planning and programming with public libraries.
